Commissions

Canberra Glassworks commissions service provides expertise in custom glass fabrication and design. Our projects range from industrial product design to public and fine art installations. Working collaboratively with the client, we supply design, prototyping, manufacturing and project management services. We welcome both private and commercial commissions for unique artworks and corporate gifts and can guide you with design options throughout the creative process. Our museum and heritage restorations are fabricated to heritage specifications, most notably Parliament House Sydney and Government House Sydney.

Commissions are undertaken in consultation with architects or designers from the earliest design stages of a project. While some clients prefer us to create the design, many prefer to be heavily involved in the process – the choice is yours. Either way, we work closely with you to refine the commission and provide you with a detailed quote and timeline for delivery. With access to a world class facility and exceptional local artists specialising in glass blowing, kiln forming, casting and cold working, we can provide you with a unique design and fabrication opportunity.
