Wheelchair and mobility devices

The entrances and ground floor Gallery and Shop are level and can accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

A lift provides access to the mezzanine public viewing platform and Hotshop. To see the glass blowers in the Hotshop, turn left when leaving the lift. To travel further on the circuit there are 5 steps down to the Engine Room floor.

If you want to continue the full self-guided circuit, you will need to retrace your path back to the main lift and continue around past the neon workshop to a set of glass doors. Through the doors there is a wheelchair platform lift (maximum weight 300kgs) available to assist those in wheelchairs to reach the Engine Room floor.

Before leaving the ground floor, please advise a staff member as they will need to assist you to negotiate the wheelchair platform lift.
