Designer and artist Martyn Thompson reimagines his ceramic vessels in glass, blending nostalgia and modernity through a tactile, painterly approach. The exhibition integrates his new glasswork with textiles, furniture, and objects from his studio, reflecting his evolving creative journey.

Kate Newby installation at MCA

2024 | Kate Newby’s Loti Smorgon Sculpture Terrace Commission, Hours in wind is a three-part installation inspired by the site of the MCA and Warrane/Sydney Cove.

King O’Malley Sapphire series

2024 | In collaboration with Canberra landmark, King O’Malleys pub, Canberra Glassworks fabricated a one-of-a-kind chandelier and vase series from Bombay Sapphire’s iconic blue gin bottle.

MoAD House Star ornament

2023 – 2024 | Fabricated by Hannah Gason, the House Star is a limited-edition collectable ornament commissioned by the Museum of Australian Democracy.
