The Conversion Range by Glassblower Katie-Ann Houghton was created exclusively for Canberra Glassworks. Repurposing mass-produced wine bottles into a hand-made jug and glass set, from 100% recycled glass reflects our efforts to showcases glassblowing talent, save energy, reduce waste, and our commitment to sustainability through design excellence. Recycling bottles is a crucial component of sustainable waste management, contributing significantly to environmental conservation.
The creation of the Conversion Range follows a detailed process: collecting and cleaning used bottles, transforming them through glassblowing, and then intricately hand cutting and polishing each piece to craft this unique product.
