Positions Available
Public Programs Manager

We are looking for a highly organized great communicator to manage the public programs offered by the Canberra Glassworks. These include a range of workshops, classes and tours that allow the general public to have a hands-on experience in the making of glass. Our range of programs includes one- and two-day creative workshops for adults, short classes to make an object, school holiday workshops and tours of the facility for adult groups and schools.
As well as managing bookings and enrolment for participants you will be required to roster teaching artists, liaise with our retail team and work closely with our administration team. This is a leadership position for someone with either teaching or high-level administration skills who loves working with a diverse range of people in a creative environment. Occasional weekend work may be required.
POSITION DETAILS
Hours: Permanent full time Monday to Friday
Salary: $70,000pa plus superannuation.
Start date: 29 July. Negotiable depending on availability.
Term: Ongoing with probationary period of six months

Gallery Shop Casual Staff
Join our pool of casual staff in our beautiful Gallery Shop. If you have retail experience, great customer service skill and love working with beautiful hand made objects, drop us an email with a covering letter and your CV. We are always looking for reliable people for busy periods, especially weekends.
The Gallery Shop is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 4.00pm. We pay award rates under the General Retail Award.
Glass Artists
We contract experienced glass artists to assist our team to deliver special projects and commissions on a job-by-job basis, or to teach classes as part of our public programs. If you are interested in joining our pool of contractors drop us an email outlining your skills and previous work. Contractors must have an ABN and Public Liability Insurance. Teachers also need a current ACT Working With Vulnerable People Registration.
