Based on Thirroul (Wollongong NSW), Lynda Draper is an artist and educator who primarily works in the ceramic medium. Her practice explores the intersection between dreams and reality, shaped by fragmented images from her surrounding environment, recollected memories, and interest in talismans from ancient cultures.

She is represented by Sullivan+Strumpf , Sydney /Singapore, and Lefebvre & Fils Gallery, Paris, France. “My intention this year is to play with the experimental potential of my work by introducing new materials, this residency is a great opportunity to explore the possibilities of combining ceramics and glass. The outcomes of the Canberra Glassworks residency will be exhibited in my next solo exhibition at Sullivan+Strumpf in 2024.”
