2023

House Star

Commissioned by Museum of Australian Democracy

Design and manufacture a collectable (200 editions) festive season ornament for the Museum of Australian Democracy that is a replication of the Federation Star. Produced in fused glass with gold leaf by Hannah Glasson.

Three Thousand Years of Longing film prop
Commissioned 3000 Years of Longing Pty Ltd, Sydney, NSW and  United Artists Releasing, Hollywood, CA.

Canberra Glassworks blew a limited series of blue and white glass genie bottles featured in the movie ‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’ directed by George Miller and starring Idris Elba as a djinn who is unleashed from a bottle by a professor played by Tilda Swinton. Further editions of the bottle were commissioned as corporate gifts.

DR3 Decanter

Commissioned by St Hugo Winery
Canberra Glassworks fabricated 1100 limited-edition glass decanters moulded from Daniel Ricciardo’s famed racing shoe. The decanter was launched at the 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne to promote the latest release of St Hugo’s DR3 fine wine.
