Canberra Glassworks undertook the historical replication of hand-blown lampshades for Old Parliament House ceiling light restoration project. The Production and Commissions team used an original fitting to reverse engineer a new glassblowing mould which was CNC-machined out of timber. Multiple light shades were blown, coldworked and drilled to match the original opal white glass and are now installed along the House of Representatives. corridors of the Old Parliament House building.
