Gayle Shaw: Moonlight

Gayle Shaw is an established glass artist specialising in kiln formed and cold worked glass based in Brisbane. She is inspired by the vibrant colours found in tropical and inland Australian landscapes. Practising for twenty years, Gayle’s colourful objects celebrate the luminous quality of glass, experimentation, the use of colour and interactions between colours. She has received numerous awards in Australia and is an active member of Ausglass, a not-for-profit membership organisation, encouraging diversity, dialogue and excellence in Australian contemporary glass. 

MATERIALS: Kiln formed glass handmade in Australia.
