See how contemporary glassmaker Katie-Ann Houghton creates functional tableware and objects of use in the Hotshop with explanation by Jeffrey Sarmiento, Head of Glass at ANU.
11.30 am – Lithography
duration: 30 minutes

12.30 pm – Repeat fabric screen printing
duration: 30 minutes

Uncover the as the experimentation, ideas and creations behind public artwork Murmuration with artist, Harriet Schwarzrock and, DJAS Architecture. Harriet Schwarzrock and the team at DJAS took out the 2021 Pamille Berg Award for Art in Architecture at the ACT Architecture Awards and was shortlisted for INDE. Awards in 2022.

As the International Year of Glass comes to a close, Canberra Glassworks Kids’ Design Competition theme was inspired by the beguiling world of Tom Moore’s exhibition now showing at Canberra Museum and Gallery. Canberra Glassworks 2022 Kids’ Design Competition is running in partnership with the Canberra Museum and Gallery’s upcoming exhibition, JamFactory ICON 2022 Tom Moore: Abundant Wonder as part of DESIGN Canberra Festival 2 – 20 November 2022.
