Brothers (The Prodigal Son)

Brothers (The Prodigal Son) was the first of a series of editioned artworks that were produced by Canberra Glassworks for artist Tony Albert. This window was exhibited at the 2020 Sydney Biennale, NIRIN.
Canberra Glassworks later produced five editioned artworks for Albert based on the body of work from the exhibition Duty of Care. Standing 180cm high, composed of three stained glass panels, the work is based on Tony’s photograph Brother (Our Past), 2013, from the Brothers series, Brother (Our Past), Brother (Our Present), Brother (Our Future).
