Indigo Swish Dish

Lisa Cahill is an established glass artist specialising in kiln formed and cold worked glass based in Canberra. Internationally acclaimed, she was Canberra Glassworks 2018 Art Group Creative Fellow and earned recognition for her collaborative commission with the Glassworks for the Sir John Monash Centre at the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, France. Lisa’s art practice ranges from large public artworks and commissions for institutions such as Tiffany and Co to sculptures and tableware for the home. By enamelling, etching, and fusing both opaque and transparent layers of glass, Lisa manipulates and controls light to reveal an intensity of colour and evoking notions of an ephemeral landscape. 

Lisa has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally with work held in public collections in Australia, the USA, Denmark and France, and has been awarded numerous grants and prizes.
