2024 Artist-in-Residence, Elliat Rich is based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs, Central Australia). She works across a broad-spectrum of design for a diverse client base, remotely, locally and nationally. Her practice covers cross-cultural resources, exhibition design, public art and furniture, product development, one-off exhibition and editioned objects. Presently, she is working on projects for Melbourne Design Week, Canberra Glassworks and Museum & Art Gallery of Northern Territory.
“Throughout this year, I will be developing furniture, wall mounted mirrors and small mythical glass vessels in glass. These will be displayed in my upcoming exhibition at the Glassworks in October as well as Melbourne Design Fair in 2025.”
