Engraving is the process of cutting into the surface of an annealed glass object either by holding it against a rotating copper wheel fed with an abrasive or by scratching it, usually with a diamond.
Engraving: Drawn on Glass – CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
Working with an expert engraver, learn to design and engrave on glass. Using recycled glass in various colours and shapes,cold work your design into beautiful glass objects or jewellery.
Drawn on Glass is a one day workshop. No prior glass working experience necessary.

*All classes ages are 16 years +for workshop participation. Canberra Glassworks may decide to cancel a workshop 7 working days prior to the event if minimum class quotas are not filled. Enrolled participants may obtain a full refund or rebook at a later date. For safety reasons, long hair must be tied back and closed-in shoes must be worn for all workshop activities. If you arrive with inappropriate footwear, participation is not guaranteed.
Collection policy- Item’s will be available for collection on the day of the workshops.
