Furnace

We melt Gaffer Batch, mixed by Artisand. We have 1 x 450kg tank furnace (clear glass) & 1 x 100kg freestanding colour pot furnace (available for artists to melt their own colour for casting and blowing).

Standard usage

Standard usage guidelines are to help us manage the hotshop to ensure everyone has enough glass and annealing space. Standard usage for a four-hour session is 15 kilos of clear furnace glass and an overnight annealing cycle. If you anticipate exceeding standard usage or require something special, please contact Artistic Programs.

• Optic moulds
• Blocks and paddles
• Hand torch and oxy/crack off torch
• Colour box, pick up ovens (contact Artistic Programs if you require a pick up oven the day before for graals etc)
• Powder booth
• Various hand tools

100% free cancellation or changes up to 24hours before the hire.
24 hours notice required to cancel a booking without incurring the cancellation fee.
50% cancellation fee for cancellations later than 24 hours before the hire.

Refunds
