Just Too Good

Blanche Tilden

showing 6 Aug to 25 Oct 2026

Main Gallery | Curated by Kelly Gellatly

Contemporary jewellery and glass artist Blanche Tilden explores the poetic reuse of loved and lived-with objects, transforming them into jewellery that carries both memory and material resonance.

Tilden draws on the idea that value is not only embedded in precious metals or gemstones, but also in the emotional and social histories of objects we hold dear. By reworking and reimagining items that are just too good to throw away, the new wearable artworks become a vessel for continuity and care, an intimate architecture of connection that links the wearer to personal and collective histories. This approach positions her practice at the intersection of sustainability, storytelling, and adornment, revealing how jewellery can embody transformation as much as decoration. This exhibition will showcase new work in contemporary jewellery, glass vessels and portrait photography.
