Graduate in Residence (GiR)

The Canberra Glassworks is offering residencies in 2021 for artists who have recently graduated university or equivalent training. This residency is for artists who have achieved significant recognition for their technical and artistic work in glass.
The residency provides artists with a place and time for research, development and mentoring, by creating a new body of work, developing an idea or continuing along a theme.
GiRs will be provided with:
- a stipend of $500
- 500 budget to be used on mentoring in a nominated area
- a designated work space
- access to: Kilns, Flameworking, Cold Shop, Hotshop and Mould Room
