Gallery Shop Trainee
ArtsReady is a program of AFL SportsReady, specifically designed to provide opportunities for creative jobseekers to start their careers with confidence, qualifications and skills. This full-time, 12 month traineeship is ideal for a recent school-leaver who has in interest in retail and/or the creative arts sector. ArtsReady Traineeships are the best way to fast-track your career. They will provide you with the real skills and experience at Canberra Glassworks needed to succeed when first starting your career.
Job Requirements for this role:
- A permanent right to work in Australia
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Commitment to the delivery of quality customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work a Tuesday – Saturday work week
- Interest in Creative Arts and/or Retail

We are looking for Gallery shop casual assistants to deliver exceptional sales and customer service in our beautiful Canberra Glassworks Gallery Shop. This front of house role welcomes and guides visitors to our exhibition programs and public access areas of the building.
