Canberra Glassworks is a state-of-the-art workshop for the creation of studio glass located in the historic Powerhouse in Kingston, ACT. The property is an ACT Government owned Arts Facility managed by Canberra Glassworks Ltd. We are looking for a part time Building Manager to join our team to oversee the ongoing maintenance of the building and its facilities.
Working as part of the technical team this is a new position created to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the building. This position would suit someone with experience in the building trades, working with contractors and trades people, managing a small team, good time management skills, and the ability to communicate and empathise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Previous experience in managing an arts facility or an historic building is desirable.
POSITION DETAILS
Hours: Permanent part time 3 days per week Monday to Wednesday 8.00 – 4.30. May include emergency call out after hours.
Salary: $75,000pa pro rata plus superannuation
Start date: 11 April 2023.
Term: 12 months (with ongoing option) Probationary period is six months
